BOSTON, August 18.

An Express who went from hence with the Letters which came in the Earl of Leicester Packet-Boat, from England, for General Amherst, returned here last Wednesday Noon from Albany, by him there is Advices from the Army at Oswego of August 4th, That General Monckton from Fort Pitt had joined General Amherst at Oswego; where they were all in Readiness to proceed on the intended Expedition; and it was thought they would go forward some Time last Week.--From Crown Point we learn, That Col. Haviland with 2500 Regulars and Brigadier Ruggles with 3000 Provincials were also ready, and would proceed towards near the same Time.
