NEW-YORK, June 29.

London papers, as late as April 27, received by the brig Minerva, Captain Cooper, arrived at Baltimore, advise, that the plague had, in March, broke out in the city of Constantinople-that the present aspect of political affairs is the most singular that Great-Britain has witnessed within the present century-that the minister threatens nothing but war, the ports of England being filled with armaments and her shores desolated by an impress--yet the general opinion is that there will be no war-that the French National Assembly appeared inclined to espouse the interest of Russia against what they call the cabal raised to force her into terms of peace with the Turks-that the French Gazettes affirm, that the Turks are to cede Egypt to England in consideration of the interposition of the British minister to oblige the Empress of Russia to accede to the terms of a reasonable pacification.
