Full Text

Gloucester Theatre.—We understand a number of respectable young ladies and gentlemen of Gloucester have fitted up a room in that town for Theatrical performances, with appropriate scenery, and elegant dresses, in which they perform as amateurs, giving the surplus receipts for each night's performance, over the expenses, to the poor. On Tuesday evening were performed to a very crowded house, the comedy of the Honey Moon, and the afterpiece of Ellen Rosenberg. The characters, we are told, were remarkably well supported by this young Thespian band, and that the performance was admirable.
