ATHENS, Ga. - Miss Mary Weaver, a recent graduate of Howard University and daughter of O. W. Weaver, manager of the Afro-American Life Insurance Co., was guest of her father and brother Mr. F. B. Weaver. The American Life Insurance has recently taken into its employ, J. I. Clay. Miss I. H. Miller and Mrs. Hortense Tapley, special agent of the Afro, are leaving here for a few months. The agency force entertained them at the regular monthly meeting, Friday. Miss Miller will be a student at the Reid's Secretarial school in Atlanta and Mrs. Tapley will be affiliated with the Union Point School. E. L.
