New District In
Lower Wisconsin
The most important action of the quarterly district meeting of associations in District Nine at Fond du Lac, March 23, was the request that the board of directors of the Midland Cooperative Wholesale create a new district, which would be known as District Ten, in southern Wisconsin. The suggested dividing line from Eight and Nine would stretch across the state from Port Washington to La Crosse. The logical meeting place would be Madison.
This division has become necessary because of the rapid growth of cooperatives in southern Wisconsin and the large size of the present District Nine. Within the district many are present.
