We have not. And if we have, you will find, as stated before, men spending money there that they received for produce which took a year to raise and then, when winter comes, find they need that same money. Of course, a man's privilege is to spend his money as he pleases but it sure gets my goat to see them waste money on games of chance and vulgar shows when they need clothes and shoes. Personally, I think Hendersonville would be better off if it did not allow a road show of any kind to stop either in the city or county. What do you think? And "who profits from carnivals." Your editorial column is the best part of your paper and should be read by all first.
