The Farmers' clubs and the Equity societies around Mankato, together with the members of the Cow Testing association, are laying plans to have a big "get together" picnic at Sibley park on Friday, September 1. This picnic is to be an all day affair, to which dinners will be brought and a speaking program arranged. The Farmers' clubs and the Equity Societies, through Professor C. R. Shumway, agricultural teacher in the high school, have extended to the Mankato Commercial club as a club and to the members as individuals, a hearty invitation to be present at the picnic with their lunch baskets and ready to meet with and get better acquainted with their neighbors from the country.
