Family Quarrels.—The case of Mr. H. Courtaine, says the S. F. Call, charged with threatening the life of his wife, Miss Grattan, was investigated in private by Judge Coon on Thursday. The precise nature of the threats did not transpire nor the extent of the injuries inflicted, the lady declining to mention them to any but a physician. He was put under bonds to keep the peace.— These frequent appeals to the law in regard to family differences are injurious to the parties both professionally and in their social relations.
