A Resolution has been taken, that the Field Marshal Count Konigsegg shall stay in the Imperial Army until the End of the Campaign, so that the Report of his being expected every Day at Vienna is without Foundation.

The Great Duke's Secretary at War, who went to the Grand Vizir's Camp with a Letter from Count Konigsegg, is come back to Belgrade, accompanied by two Bashaws, who delivered to the Count the following Answer from that Prime Minister: That by Virtue of his full Powers, he was ready to enter into a Treaty of Peace with the Emperor, upon the Footing of the Treaty of Passarowitz, and upon Condition, that this shall be one of the Preliminary Articles of it.
