PENNSYLVANIA.—The Pennsylvanian gives official returns for Canal Commissioners, from 40 counties, and unofficial returns from all the other counties except Bradford, Clarion, Crawford, Elk, Jefferson, McKean, Potter, Tioga, Venango, and Warren. The usual is a Whig majority of 8,160, which will be somewhat reduced by the counties above mentioned.

The Congressional list stands as follows, viz: —one Native, one Independent, 16 Whigs, and 6 Democrats. Total 24. In the old Congress the delegation stands, 12 Democrats, 10 Whigs, and 2 Natives.

Senate.—14 Democrats, 18 Whigs, and 1 Native. Last year, 18 Democrats, 14 Whigs, and 1 Native.

House.—Democrats 43, Whigs 57. Last year Democrats 66, Whigs 34.
