The Court has just received Advice, That Donduc
Ombo, Chief of the Kalmucks, has reduced under Obedience
our Empress, General Mua Mira, Son of Mira-Bey,
who, in the Year 1736, settled in the Kuban with several
Hordes of Nogai Tartars, under the Protection of
her Imperial Majesty; that Donduc Ombo has also subdued
2000 Tartar Families that had been sent to keep
the Fortress of Kizlar: that about 2000 Families of Circassians
settled on the Coasts of the Caspian Sea, have
likewise voluntarily taken Part with the Kalmucks;
and that according to all Appearance, Semerblot, Chief
of the Circassians, would submit in a few Days with the
rest of his Nation.
