The Moniteur of Sunday week announces the highly important fact of the discovery of a plot to overthrow the Bourbon Dynasty, and proclaim as Sovereign of France some member of the Bonaparte family, into which a part of the soldiers composing the garrison of Paris, including several officers, had for a moment been seduced. This project of treason was discovered by means of some of the soldiers whom the conspirators had attempted to corrupt, and whose loyalty prompted them to disclose the infamous plot to their Chiefs. The consequence was, that the conspirators were arrested at the critical moment when the fire was lighted at Vincennes which was to serve as a signal for the execution of the revolutionary project; and thus was Paris and France happily saved from all the horrors of anarchy and bloodshed, unavoidably attendant upon so atrocious and diabolical a design.
