TO ADDRESS WESTERN
GOVERNORS' CONFERENCE

JUNEAU (AP) - Rep. Leo W. O'Brien has accepted an invitation to address the Western Governors' Conference at its annual state dinner, to be held in Anchorage on May 4, Gov. Wm. Egan said yesterday.

O'Brien, one of the chief advocates of Alaskan and Hawaiian Statehood and floor manager for both Statehood bills, is a member of the House Interior and Insular Affairs Committee and the Interstate and Foreign Commerce Committee.

O'Brien is also a member of the Alaska International Rail and Highway Commission.

Egan, present chairman of the Western Governors' Conference, said 10 of the 15 Western Governors still plan to attend the 1962 meeting, scheduled for May 2-5.
