Full Text

To the Electors of Franklin County.

Having been called upon by an Elector to know whether I consider myself qualified to represent the County of Franklin in the next General Assembly—Conceiving all men rather overrating their own qualifications, shall leave that part to be independent and sovereign people to judge.

Suffice for me to say, that if I am not qualified that at least I am willing to take a seat in the Legislature and endeavor to learn legislating as most of our wise-acres has had to try, that has been there.

ARTHUR OHARRA.
