Co-op Burial Ass'n

An organizing committee to form a National Association of Cooperative Burial Association was named at a meeting of representatives from five states in Minneapolis recently. The organization would coordinate activities of burial co-ops with regard to national and state legislation, personnel selection, and exchange of information on management, prices, advertising, and purchasing of equipment. Decision to form such an organization was unanimous. Named to the organizing committee were: Reuben Schakel, Pella, Ia.; A. W. Nelson, Cokato, Minn.; Erich Lenz, Merrill, Wis.; Harry Moyer, Williston, N. D.; H. A. Willoughbee, Salem, S. D. Arthur L. Boock, treasurer of the Central Wisconsin Co-op Burial Ass'n, was secretary of the meeting.
