T. J. Essington returned from Omaha Wednesday.
Clyde Bowen was sick the latter part of the week.
H. J. Wattles was a business caller in Exira Saturday.
Joe Doner went to Audubon Wednesday on business.
J. P. Guhl was a business caller in Audubon Wednesday.
Floyd Green, from Lorah, is under the doctor's care this week.
T. J. McGovern was among those who had a touch of the grip.
Peter Nelson is moving onto J. P. Bendixen's farm north-west of town.
J. T. Jenkins was sick the first part of the week but is now able to be about again.
Nels J. Boose made a business trip to Atlantic Friday and returned Saturday.
Mrs. W. R. Koob went to Anita Saturday to spend a few days with her parents.
Martin Jensen returned from Harlan Saturday where he has been visiting friends a few days.
Nels Boose, former clerk for Jenkins & Vail has hired out to work for Levi Down at Atlantic and will move there soon.
Hans Hansen, who purchased the Jenkins & Vail stock of general merchandise is now moving into the Del Heath house.
Mrs. Bird Benson went to Anita Wednesday where she will spend a few days with her relatives and then go on to Nebraska where her husband went a few days ago.
There was a surprise dance given at the Bendixen hall Wednesday night in honor of Chris Christensen who will soon move to Grant, Michigan, where he has purchased a farm.
