On Tuesday morning last, some men at work on the Common, discovered the body of a white male child, much decayed, buried near the roots of a tree. It was dressed, and appeared to have been dead some time, and to have been about two weeks old at the time of its death. There was some blood on the clothes on the left side, and a small hole was found in the side under the left arm. An inquest was held by Eben. Shute. Esq. Coroner; who gave for verdict that the child came to its death by violence,- Boston Gazette.
