NEW DORMITORIES FOR BOYS' AND GIRLS' CLUBS

Two immense dormitories, each 50 by 192 feet in size, will greet the state fair visitors this year.

These have been erected by the fair officials out of the $25,000 appropriated for the purpose by the last State Legislature for the use of the Boys' and Girls' Club members.

These dormitories, which will be completed by the middle of September, are located just south of the old quarters of the club members; they will comfortably house 500 boys and girls, together with their chaperones, club leaders and the officers of the organization.

A total sum of $60,000 was asked of the Legislature, so that in addition to the dormitories, demonstration quarters and an assembly hall, as well as offices and the like, could also be built, making the department complete, but the lawmakers cut the amount as stated. So for this year's encampment the old quarters will be overhauled and rearranged for demonstrations and the like.

The dormitories will be separated by an open court 40 by 192 feet in dimensions, and they will be furnished and equipped so that the club members will be as much at home while at the fair the last week in September, as if under their own family roofs.
