Gibraltar, July 3. Yesterday Admiral Haddock, with 8 Ships of 50 or 70 Guns each, sail'd from this Bay to Cape St. Vincent, in order to look out for nine Spanish Men of War expected from the Groyne; there's pretty certain Information that the Admiral's Orders are positive to sink, burn, and destroy all Ships of that Nation that fall in their Way, which must determine us into a War at last: We are making all necessary Preparations here, lest they attack us by Land; we hourly expect a Fleet from England with more Troops.
