Ambulance Chaser Ordinance Asked

PHOENIX. Feb. 10. (U.P.)—City and county authorities today sought enactment of an ordinance which will take the profit—for private persons—from police radio calls.

Several Phoenix two-car outfits keep their radios tuned in on the local police broadcasting station, the officers said, and frequently arrive at the scene of accidents before authorities' cars and ambulances and impede the work of the officers.

And, not only the garages are to blame, they disclosed. Several Phoenix "ambulance chasing" attorneys take advantage of the broadcasts to drum up business for themselves, police declared.
