The McAllen Real Estate Association Monday night appointed five working committees, and voted to sponsor an entertainment for raising funds with which to further advertise McAllen and the Valley. Meeting for the last time this year, the association appointed publicity, appraisal, finance, grievance and membership committees composed of three members each. The organization voted to advertise the names of the 45 charter members of the association. A. J. McColl offered the use of his clubhouse in which a dance or some form of entertainment might be held. All proceeds will be used solely for advertising. It was announced that a tourist guide now being printed will be completed by the end of the year and plans call for the distribution of 10,000 copies by the various Valley chambers of commerce. The next regular meeting of the organization will be held at the Casa de Palmas on January 2, it was announced.
