Reception of Gen. Cadwalader.—According to expectation, Gen. Cadwalader arrived in Philadelphia on the afternoon of the 19th. He was received by the City authorities in a manner worthy of his services in the cause of his country. The military turned out in large numbers on the occasion. We have seldom, says the Pennsylvanian, seen a fuller or more spirited parade. The General looks sunburnt and somewhat older than when he left the ease of a Philadelphia life for the rough scenes of the National Bridge, La Hoya, Contreras, Churubusco, Molino del Rey, Chapultepec, and the San Cosme Gate of the City of Mexico. He received a hearty welcome home.
