AGGRESSIONS OF GREAT BRITAIN ON THE RIGHTS OF AMERICA

Impressment of 6347 of our seamen supposed at least 8000.

Orders in Council and paper blockades, with the license trade under which 697 of our merchantmen have been taken. These orders have in fact made America the subjects of England, or they are not allowed a legal trade.

Killing of Pierce on our coast.

Attack on the Chesapeake Killing our citizens, and carrying them to Halifax for trial.

Insults in our own waters particularly in Hampton Roads after the attack on the Chesapeake, when with an armed force they examined every American vessel bound in or going out, & even the river coasters, demanding their papers, &c.

Insult to our executive by one of their ministers.

Mission of Henry to divide the union, now proved to be employed by the British minister.

Scalping knives and tomahawks that by British bribery and instigation are let loose on our frontiers.

These are only some of the leading insults and injuries we have received from this nation who know no rights but their power.
