COMMITTEES THROUGHOUT FROM ALL PARTS OF SOUTH GEORGIA ARE NAMED TO ASSIST IN FIGHT IN MEXICAN BOLL WEEVIL.
The committee of Sumter county citizens are expected to assist in the fight on the boll weevil by organizing the farmers in their respective counties.
They are expected to call the farmers together, explain to them the best methods of fighting the pest and minimizing the danger, and secure as far as possible unity of action among the farmers.
The Sumter county committee is Lee G. Council, F. P. Harrold, R. I. McMath, R. P. Stackhouse, E. H. Hyman.
The committees in the neighboring counties are:
Dooly-J. Woodward, M. U. Rushin J. B. Walton.
Terrell-H. A. Petty, John R. Mercer, M. J. Yeomans.
Lee-J. L. Long, J. A. Lipsey, Goode Price.
