Full Text
The First Baptist Church of this city has just completed the putting in of a fine piece of work in the way of hoisting doors, made of black cypress, between the main auditorium and the Sunday school room and the vestibule.
The ladies have aided largely in the electric lighting up of the church by additional ceiling clusters and side brackets, besides the supplying of the pews with neat envelope holders.
The people of the church feel deeply grateful to the Misses Jennie M. and Mattie South, Miss Sarah Jarvis and Mrs. Washington Jarvis, all of Pittsburg, Pa., who so kindly contributed the needful in making the above improvements possible.
These improvements, together with the pews, pulpit furniture, carpet and choir railing, but recently installed, places this church building now second to none other in Daytona.
