Extract of a letter from Derby, June 15.

On Saturday last a female heroine was discovered in Col. Fullarton's regiment, quartered here: She is an Irish girl, had been in the corps about 3 months, and during that term behaved remarkably well, performing her duty with activity and cheerfulness. It is said, she followed her sweetheart from Ireland. She has been discharged, and money given to carry her home. The manner of her sex being disclosed is variously related. but we are told she lodged at a private house, and communicated the secret to a female bed-fellow, by whom she was betrayed.
