DARTMOUTH COLLEGE.

According to the Catalogue just published of this Institution, there are besides the President, eight Professors and two Tutors. The Professorships are, of Mathematics and Natural Philosophy, of Divinity, of Surgery, Obstetrics and Legal Medicine, of the Theory and Practice of Physic, Materia Medica and Botany, of Chemistry, Mineralogy and the Application of Science to the Arts, of Rhetoric and Oratory, of Anatomy and Physiology, and of the Latin and Greek Languages and Literature.

The whole number of Students is 220; of whom 8 are Resident Graduates, and 66, Medical Students, exclusive of Resident Graduates.

The Libraries (including the Medical and the Society Libraries) contain 12,000 Volumes, a larger collection, it is believed, than is to be found at any other College in the United States, except the University of Cambridge.
