Plowing match was better contested than any of the previous exhibitions. Nine pairs and four single ones started. Down, on account of the excessive heat, from 50 to 75 minutes, except one, and completed 1-4 of an acre. Weather.

Samples of household manufacture, carpeting, blankets, and rugs, more abundant than we have before seen, and of excellent quality. An exhibition of peculiar novelty and interest was, by Mr. Silk of his own manufacture.

The substance of the material in the various stages of its growth and preparation was shown by Mr. Boynton, who has been engaged in his present undertaking, states entire confidence in the result, and is coming forward, and expressing rearing 1000 mulberry trees, etc.

Little, of W. Newbury, exhibited the produce of one potato, planted in 1828, during 4 bushels; 10 of them 760 in number, weighing 246 lbs. —Newburyport Herald.
