Trains Over Extension By November 1st
It is now expected that trains will be running on the new Tucson extension by the 1st of November. About forty miles of track will complete the work. Construction has been started on the passenger and freight depots and roundhouse in Tucson. Track laying is now completed for a distance of eighteen miles out of Fairbank. The Golden State Limited of the Rock Island system will probably be run through about the 1st of January, although it was anticipated that the train could be handled at an earlier date.
