TIME.

How slowly and how silently doth Time

Steal on his starry journey still he goes,

And not as one does not pass away

It rises at the old morning early.

And both their wont at night. Methinks I see

Waft, oh age wide abroad his mighty wing.

Potter over our crowded sons

Eying it with its prey beneath.

I dare and Time seems passing on,

In many I shall be a breathless thing-

Yet will still be here, and the blue hours

Will laugh as gaily on the busy world

As though I an alight to one time

The life of Entertaining Age.
