For The Herald.

A Card.

A very pleasant visit was recently made to their Pastor and his family by the Congregational people of Tolland. The unpleasant weather prevented many from being present on the occasion. The tokens of their kindness were liberal, and the interview was one of a very quiet, social and religious cast.

A lady of my congregation, who is wont to use her pen in the way of poetry, has happily expressed the sentiments and circumstances of the occasion in verse. It will be gratifying to see this specimen of her poetry in the Herald.
