AMERICAN.
Saratoga, 26 guns; Superior 20; Ticonderoga, 13; Preble 10; 6 row gallies, 12; 4 do. do. 4—Total number of guns, 90.
BRITISH.
Taken—La Confiance, 36 guns, brig name unknown, 18; Growler, 11; Eagle, 11.
Escaped—12 row gallies, 24 guns; 3 ditto, 3—Total number of guns, 102.
A gentleman from Burlington, who left there on Wednesday, informs, that Gov. Prevost with his army, had effected his retreat, without receiving any material check subsequent to Gen. Macomb's communication, which we published on Saturday.
