Off for Kawich.

George H. Lewis, superintendent of the Kawich Mining company's property, left Wednesday for Kawich to inspect the work which has been going forward since the organization of the company. Reports which have been received sustain those just given that the company has one of the best properties in the district. Mr. Lewis will at once put a force of men to work on the Last Chance, one of the claims which his company recently acquired and which adjoins the property of the Goldreed Mining company, on which the original rich strike was made.
