Bennington Loses Industry.

Bennington, Dec. 15. - Announcement is made that C. E. Bruce, manager of the Campbell Knitting Company mill, will remove his plant to Elmira, N. Y., and a beginning has been made. The removal is caused by a strike of help on account of a reduction in wages which cannot be settled. Four of the employees will go to Elmira with Mr. Bruce. The removal of the plant will be quite a severe loss to Bennington, as it employed 150 hands and until the last few months has been quite successful in every way.
