Suicide of an Unknown Man.-The dead body of an unknown white man was found in a strip of woods on Winston avenue, near Govans-town, on Friday, 15th inst. The man had a small gray mustache and his head was bald. He had on a dark coat and vest, and in his pockets were found a pair of eye glasses, forty cents in money and some other small articles, but nothing that would lead to his identity. Three deep gashes were cut across his left wrist, which had been inflicted by an old blood-covered knife found near the body, and it was evident the man had taken his life. Justice Pindell, of Waverly, held an inquest and the jury rendered a verdict of suicide. Dr. Duncan, who examined the body, said the man had been dead several days. The body was removed to Waverly station-house and as it was not identified it was buried at the expense of the county.
