Full Text

Flour Inspection and Sack Salt.

A large space in our paper this week, is taken up with the communication of 'A Constituent;' but as it was a matter of importance that its publication should not be delayed, and it would not well admit of division, we have crowded it into this number. A large portion of our citizens are deeply interested in the subjects of which it treats, its length, therefore, should not deter them from reading it. The farmers who trade at Fayetteville will find in it a pungent exposition of the injustice and hardships to which they are sometimes exposed by the system of Flour Inspection at that place, and the Salt trade, as well as a strong appeal for a remedy at the hands of the Legislature.
