For the first time in Pennsylvania there is to be no election this year in October. Under the new Constitution it takes place on Tuesday, the 3rd day of November. In consequence of this change there will not be such general curiosity throughout the nation concerning politics in that State, whose decision in October always has had a bearing upon the results in other States. This year Pennsylvania will vote on the same day with New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and a dozen other States.
