Organizing Camp
Fire Girls Groups

The American Legion Auxiliary is organizing several "Camp Fire Girls" groups in Nogales. Members of the Auxiliary will act as sponsors and the girls will be helped in every possible way.

The Camp Fire program is a program of fun which also develops the girls spiritually, mentally and physically. Camp Fire work is recognized as one of the most important means of developing character.

Since the organization of the Camp Fire in 1912 over 750,000 girls have lived the Camp Fire program of work, health, love, and service. There are groups in 21 countries of the world.

The law of the Camp Fire is- seek beauty, give service, pursue knowledge, be trustworthy, hold on to health, glorify work, and be happy.

The girls of Nogales are fortunate to be able to join such an organization.

Mrs. Harry Conner has been appointed as the Auxiliary advisor to work with the guardians.

Miss Elizabeth Hightower and Miss Evelyn Baker, both Lincoln school teachers, will act as guardians. The two charters have already been applied for.
