BADLY CRUSHED.

Thomas Carter Caught Between a Post and Motor.

Yesterday evening Thomas Carter, a countryman, met with a very bad accident. He was standing in the motor shed of the Elm Grove road, and in attempting to get on the front of the moving motor was caught between it and a large post. Dr. Reed Baird was sent for, and on a hasty examination could not discover any broken bones. The injured man was under the influence of liquor and did not want the doctor to touch him. He was conveyed to his residence in the country in a carriage. His injuries are confined to the lower portion of the body.
