This past Wednesday the Civitan Club president John Lowe presented First Selectman Edmund J. Keleher, a member of the Kingsbury committee, a check in the amount of $250. He also said that the club members in recognition of the opportunity to perform a special local service were also planning to donate the proceeds of their local store fruit cake sales during the month of December to the Nancy Kingsbury Fund.

Volunteer Fire Company 3 voted to dispense with their usual Christmas Party, instead the men voted to donate $50. to the Nancy Kingsbury Therapy Fund Account.
