Sunday School at the First Jerusalem Baptist Church was under the supervision of Dea. George Loadholt.
The young people were in charge of the morning service. Among the visiting participants were Miss Alice Williams, Mr. Van Buren Jones and the St. Thomas A.M.E. Sunday School Chorus.
At the evening service the Deacon Board was in charge of the service with Dea. Marvin Cobb as speaker. He used for a subject, "What Makes a Good Deacon". After a very inspiring program it was requested that Mrs. Carrie Rouse chant "Hold On To Jesus" and Deacon James Barnes make a special prayer for Bro. Lockhart who has been taken ill suddenly. We all pray for him a speedy recovery. Rev. Walter Brown, pastor.
