AFTERWARD RELEASED.

Two Sisters of Charity Arrested In Kansas City Charged With Soliciting Subscriptions Without Authority.

Kansas City, Mo., June 30.-The sisters of St. Margaret's hospital complained Wednesday evening that two women in the black gowns of sisters of a nun's order were soliciting subscriptions for the hospital without authority. The sisters said that the solicitors were not known to them and were probably keeping the money themselves. Chief Hays had the women taken to the police station Wednesday morning to explain their actions. They proved to be both genuine Sisters of the Sacred Heart. They showed credentials from the bishop and clergy of Evansville, Ind., where a monastery is now building. They declared they had solicited for this monastery only and were released.
