U. S. MERCANTILE BUILDING MOVED TO NEW SITE

Unlike Humpty Dumpty, the U. S. Mercantile Company building is together again.

After cutting the building into two sections, George Hite, local contractor has been working under difficult weather conditions for the past two weeks but now has the building completely in place on the new site on the north side of Front Street.

Ken Rank, manager of the company, announces that the store will reopen on Monday, August 19th, with much new merchandise recently received.
