Washington, April 27, 1809.
[ORDERS]
All officers of the army who are on furlough or absent from their respective corps or station, will report themselves without delay to the adjutant and inspector of the army, Major Nicoll at the City of Washington; on what authority they are absent and the period for which their furloughs were given, and all officers who shall hereafter be absent from their respective corps or stations, will report themselves monthly as herein directed.
