Will Conduct Farewell Services At Cape Charles, Sunday, April 5th

Cape Charles, Va., April 1-Rev. J. W. Wootten of Bethany Methodist Episcopal Church, Cape Charles, for the past two years, will relinquish his charge here after preaching at the morning and evening services Sunday, April 5. At the annual conference in Delmar, which came to a close last Monday with the reading of the various appointments, there were 73 changes in the Conference and Mr. Wootten was selected for the Pocomoke City, appointment. Mr. and Mrs. Wootten and their little daughter, Anne, have made a host of friends here during their two years at Bethany and the citizens of the community and members of his congregation will regret the unexpected change. Rev. W. E. Moore, of Still Pond, Md., will arrive next week to assume his duties at Bethany.
