Montpelier, May 14.—Supreme court resumed its sessions this morning. The Windham county case of Ellen A. Frederick against Lillian Morse was heard and late in the forenoon the Rutland county case of Mary Conroy, administratrix, against Herman B. and Thomas S. Nelson, negligence, was taken up. M. G. Webber appears for Mary Conroy and T. W. Moloney for the defendants. John Conroy was killed by a falling rock in the quarry of the defendants and his wife, as administratrix, sued to recover. The defense is that he knew and voluntarily assumed the danger.
Irving N. Chase against Glenn Robinson, another Rutland county case concerning the ownership of a horse, was also argued, W. A. Atwell for Chase and R. W. Simmons for Miss Robinson.
