Legitimacy.—" We feel that we are speaking the sentiments of the democrats of Ohio, and, we believe, the democrats of the Union. when we say that, to ensure the concentration and full success of the party, Van Buren is the man to whom the friends of the present administration look as the LEGITIMATE SUCCESSOR to Andrew Jackson." Well, this is candid. The Andrew Jackson dynasty, with "LEGITIMATE SUCCESSION," is openly asserted. That such has been the tendency of the doctrines and the measures of the Jackson administration, has been obvious to all dispassionate observers. It is open, fair play to avow it.-Cin. Gaz.
