For the Morning Star.

The Weare Quarterly Meeting convened at Plainfield, Jan. 30, 1833. The reports from the churches were generally favorable. Some of them have been favored with revival and additions to their number. In the course of the meeting the word was preached by Elder H. N. Plumb, from Strafford Q. M. and Elders A. Caverno, and E. Watson.

The Elders' Conference resolved itself into a Temperance Society, recognizing the Constitution recommended in the minutes of our last General Conference. Most of the churches in the Quarterly Meeting are also using their influence to promote the cause of Temperance.
