Fatal Accident,--A sad occurrence took place at Philipsburgh, C. E., on the 17th ult., by which one young man was killed. The deceased was a son of Capt. Linkley, and the other a son of Augustus Hogle, went to the mouth of Pike creek for the purpose of shooting ducks. In the hurry and excitement of the moment it is supposed that young Hogle overloaded his gun, and discharged it before bringing it to his shoulder, the recoil causing an internal injury, sufficient to cause his death.--Liberty Gazette.
