Full Text

Late From St. Domingo.—By the arrival in Hampton Roads of the brig Walcott, Owen, in 10 days from Gonaives, we learn that the same animosity as heretofore exists between the Spanish and Haytien portion of the inhabitants, and that there is a complete war in the western part of the Island between the Blacks and Mulattoes, the former being bent on exterminating the Mulattoes. There were about 30,000 troops of both parties constantly under arms. Business of all kinds at a complete stand still, and American produce dull. Left no American vessels. Sailed in company with brig Allen, Minson, for Boston.—Norfolk Beacon.
